Just Another Day In The Paddock

Prismacolor pencil, Art Sectrum ColourFix light blue coloured
paper, Teptic photography, A3 size. 8.5 hours. This was a 'quickie' by my
general standards! I was working with paper I hadn't used before, and found
that I just couldn't layer or use solvent with it, so I basically had to keep it
gestural and draw! Never thought cows would be so funny......they're really
funny when you have to really stare at them! Enjoy. kindly Karina xx

31 x 28cm, prismacolor pencils, solvent for blending. Fabriano coloured
paper, Ella Photography. 30 hours. I was overwhelmed by the stillness and the
sad beauty of this image, we have all been here, thinking, contemplating,
remembering something that we loved and have lost, something that didn't go our
way, someone that treated us badly, a moment that takes our concentration away
and holds us frozen in thought. And for a child this is compounded by their
inability to reason or understand some things. I love the teddy, and I feel
safer that she has it, holding it dear. Her true constant and loyal friend.
