Some time ago, I did a drawing of a beautiful girl on a horse, 'her Confidant'.  The story of a woman and a horse, And she was one of most loved drawings.  She went on to sell at her first show....and my little 4 year old was gutted.  lol.  So, I promised to always draw her again for him.  Finally, I have managed to do so, same horse, same girl, same story.....different day.  I hope you love her, and hope the story takes you to their place.  kindly Karina xx

'They are always together, talking, exploring.  He loves it when she arrives after school, which then became after work, which changed to after the baby went to sleep, to now, after work again.
She chose him when he was just born, or perhaps, he chose her.
They have been together in the rain, sunshine, cold and heat, the whole time, she talked to him, telling him every part of her day, and he listened, taking it all in, just being there.
One day she didn't talk, she just cried and cried and he watched her weary face as she brushed it up against his, tears wetting his cheek and he could smell the salt, and her purfume, always her perfume. He loved her voice, and her smell.
Then one day, he had to leave her.  on a cold day. She talked and talked to try to get him to stay with her, but he let go.
He fondest memory of him is reaching out to his beautiful soft cheek and reassuring him as they rode that she would always be there to tell him everything, and would always love him.  She always was. She always did.  He took all of her secrets with him that day, for no one knew what he did.......her confidant. '

sI am very very very very thrilled to share that 'hoodie man' AKA Anonymous has taken 'BEST OIL IN SHOW' at the Berwick Artists Society 'Art Across the Ages' art show 2015.   This is first win ever for one of my oil paintings, and the little envelope had in it everything that every artist dreams of (besides money lol)- a wonderful gift voucher for art supplies at Senior Art, and I'm now dying to use it and get some more top  up pencils, and a set of watercolour pencils to turn my next dream into a reality- a children's book, written by myself and my little one, Hudson.  About a little boy and his teddy and their dog who wander into a beautiful park, and lose teddy, and how the dog escapes in the middle of the night and meets the most wondrous animals, makes new friends and eventually finds teddy for his human, only to get lost on the way home.  The hunt then begins for the little boy who is distressed to not only lose his best friend 'Teddy', but his other best friend, his dog..........  Let the dream making begin!  Thank you so much Berwick Artists Society for helping me on my journey!  Whoo hoooo hooodie man!!!  More oil paintings planned for next year.  kxx
