This is a beautiful champion Basset Hound, USA born and bred, and he has the most gorgeous head! Drawn for a very very dear friend who breeds Basset's, this handsome head is heading over the USA as a gift for his mummy. As soon as he is gifted later this month, I can reveal who he is and his amazing pedigree and awards....he's quite famous! A beautiful doggy to draw, and given that my soul dog was a Basset, I knew that look intimately.....that sad, floppy, look of reposeful dignity. kxx
